Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Corporate Securities Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice on securities regulation, compliance, and corporate governance matters, ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations while facilitating successful mergers and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on compliance with securities regulations and corporate governance matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to mergers and acquisitions
- Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessments for corporate transactions
- Prepare and file regulatory documents and reports as required
- Provide guidance on corporate finance issues and securities offerings
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs
- Support the legal team in various corporate matters and transactions
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate securities law
- Strong understanding of securities regulations and corporate governance
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions and due diligence processes
- Excellent analytical and financial analysis skills
- Proven negotiation skills with a focus on contractual agreements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
