An established firm based in the western suburbs is seeking a Corporate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their team. This Attorney will have experience with corporate matters related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity offerings, restructurings, entity selection and formation, general corporate matters, and sophisticated commercial contract work, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.
Offer
Salary range: $115,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience
Performance-based bonuses
Comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), CLE reimbursements, and paid time off
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and have a desire for autonomy and significant client/matter responsibility while leading teams on projects.
Candidates must have excellent drafting and negotiation skills, a superior academic background, and a desire to have significant client interaction.
Candidates must be committed to extraordinary client service.
Responsibilities
Develop a sophisticated practice in a collegial environment which also provides ongoing business development training.
First- or second-chair corporate matters related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity offerings, restructurings, entity selection and formation, general corporate matters, and sophisticated commercial contract work.
Lead teams on projects and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.
