Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing control systems for automated equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure PLC and HMI systems for various automated applications.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control system issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on control systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize system performance.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities for future reference.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new automation projects as needed.
- 2 years of experience working with controls, electrical or automation, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI development, preferably with Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
- Experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical wiring and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
