We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various applications in the pharmaceutical and biomedical industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing control processes, ensuring system reliability, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes in the pharmaceutical and biomedical sectors.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing equipment.
- Conduct testing and debugging of control systems to verify functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and improve system performance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for control system issues, maintaining a high level of system reliability.
- Document control system designs, modifications, and maintenance procedures for future reference and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in control systems engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biomedical industries.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and configuration, particularly with Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
- Familiarity with HMI design and SCADA systems, including Wonderware and FactoryTalk.
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and their applications in industrial settings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
