The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems and automation solutions for various industrial applications. This role focuses on improving system performance and reliability through effective control strategies and troubleshooting techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement control systems for industrial automation processes
- Develop and test PLC and HMI programs to ensure system functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications
- Conduct system troubleshooting and provide maintenance support for existing control systems
- Create and maintain electrical schematics and documentation for control systems
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance system performance and efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in PLC programming and HMI development
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation principles and control systems
- Familiarity with electrical schematic design and interpretation
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
