We are seeking a talented and motivated Controls Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement control systems for manufacturing processes.
- Develop and optimize PLC and HMI programming for automated systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Create and update schematics and bill of materials for control panels and wiring layouts.
- Collaborate with design teams to integrate control systems into manufacturing equipment.
- Conduct lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve process efficiency.
- Utilize CAD and CAM software for designing control systems and components.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the metal industry.
- Strong knowledge of control systems design, PLC, and HMI programming.
- Experience with troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficient in CAD and CAM software for system design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
