We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer (Process Automation) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for process automation in a manufacturing environment. This role involves working with various technologies to optimize production efficiency and ensure system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement control systems for process automation using PLC, HMI, and SCADA technologies.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including functional specifications and control narratives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with existing plant infrastructure.
- Utilize Studio5000, FactoryTalk, and other software tools for programming and monitoring processes.
- Support electrical design and integration of control systems with DCS and other industrial automation technologies.
- Participate in the commissioning and testing of controls systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage projects related to process automation and ensure timely completion within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in process automation, preferably in industrial or chemical environments.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI design, and SCADA systems.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation products, including Studio5000 and FactoryTalk.
- Familiarity with Batch processing, Ignition, and PlantPAx systems (a plus)
- Understanding of vision systems and packaging automation. (a plus)
