Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls/Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems and automation solutions for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems and automation solutions using Allen Bradley and ControlLogix platforms.
• Program and configure PLCs and HMIs to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Conduct system commissioning and validation for new and existing control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to create and update P&ID, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Implement SCADA solutions using iFix and Wonderware for real-time data monitoring and control.
• Perform data exchange between control systems and enterprise systems using SQL and other protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Support validation efforts in compliance with pharmaceutical and manufacturing regulations.
• Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and documentation for control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or Automation Engineer in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley, ControlLogix) and HMI development.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems like iFix and Wonderware.
• Experience with control system design, commissioning, and validation processes.
• Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in reading and creating P&ID, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
