Controller/ Plant Controller - Cost Accounting, Manufacturing

We are currently seeking an polished finance and accounting leader for a CONTROLLERSHIP level Management role to lead and drive our facilities financial performance and offer day to day, and strategic operational insight at our growing, dynamic production facility. Good things are happening here, and we would like this manager to have the ability to add strategic minded thinking to help us with our growth and future plans.

We Need a Proven Finance And Accounting Leader Who Can Lead And Development Of The Accounting Team, Fostering Both Technical And Leadership Growth And On a Daily, Weekly, Monthly Basis, Performing The Following

• Build plant budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure requests
• Analyze production, labor, and inventory costs to identify savings opportunities
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle count programs
• Manage fixed assets, including capitalization, transfers, retirements, and annual audits
• Support month-end close, general ledger entries, and financial statement preparation
• Present monthly financial results and KPIs to senior leadership
• Ensure proper coding of invoices and purchase orders; coordinate with AP for timely payments
• Assist with BOM costing, new item setup, and ERP system accuracy
  
  

We are looking for a degreed finance/accounting professional, with at least a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field, along with at least five or more years in both an finance and accounting team management (team and project) level role and with experience in an industrial setting, working with manufacturing and cost-accounting reporting and planning tasks.

Priority consideration will be given to those with CPA Certification, and any experience within a high volume, consumer product manufacturing setting, and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities, therein.

You must have strong SW Tool skills, including extensive Excel and ERP use and comfort with a HIGH DESIRED skill set being any hands on experience with SAP Specifically.
