Construction Superintendent - Commercial Projects

Location: Denver, CO

Salary: $110K-$180K (salary depends on experience)

Position Overview

We're one of the leading general contractors in Denver, CO, and we're looking for a talented Superintendent with a strong background in commercial, healthcare, education, and public sector projects.

This person will oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage field crews and subcontractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients.
• Prepare and review construction documents, change orders, and RFIs.
• Ensure quality control and oversee the use of materials and labor on-site.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure all safety regulations are followed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Superintendent with ground-up projects in the commercial, healthcare, education, or public sector verticals
• Experience overseeing large projects from $5M to $15M in size
• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
• Experience managing subcontractors and field crews effectively.
• Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint, BuilderTrend).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) is a plus.
• Experience in retail, commercial, healthcare, or mixed-use construction is preferred.
