Position Overview

This role supports projects across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes and contributes to project controls, claims mitigation, and continuous improvement of scheduling practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques for single and multidiscipline construction projects, including electrical scopes.
- Create and baseline project schedules and produce schedule updates, lookahead schedules (212 week), and recovery plans to mitigate delays.
- Coordinate schedule inputs and sequencing with project managers, subcontractors, procurement, and site supervision to ensure alignment with construction means and methods.
- Perform resource and costloaded scheduling, including leveling and analysis of manpower, equipment, and material constraints.
- Monitor progress and quantify schedule variances; prepare regular schedule performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for project leadership and owners.
- Analyze impacts of change orders, design revisions, and delays; prepare time impact analyses, delay narratives, and support claims or dispute resolution as required.
- Integrate schedule data with project management and field reporting tools (e.g., Procore, Site Progress, BIM/4D) and maintain accurate baselines for comparison.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings, construction coordination sessions, and subcontractor milestone alignment workshops.
- Maintain schedule standards, templates, and procedures; mentor junior schedulers and support training initiatives to raise scheduling maturity.
- Support procurement and logistics planning to ensure longlead items and material deliveries align with the project schedule.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of construction scheduling experience on industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects; demonstrated experience including electrical scopes preferred.
- Proven proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project; strong Excel skills and familiarity with schedule integration into project controls systems (e.g., Procore, Aconex, or similar).
- Handson knowledge of CPM scheduling techniques, time impact analysis, resource/cost loading, and schedule risk assessment.
- Experience working on electrical projects or experience as an Electrical Project Manager is strongly preferred; familiarity with electrical installation sequencing, commissioning, and testing activities a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present complex schedule information clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Certifications such as PMISP, AACE PSP, or Primavera scheduling certification are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required and work collaboratively with field teams and subcontractors.
