Position Overview
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality standards, specifically in the electrical and utilities sectors. This role involves developing ensuring compliance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, and OSHA requirements and regulations to deliver projects that meet client specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare daily QC reports and hold weekly meetings.
- Ensure adherence to USACE and NAVFAC requirements and OSHA regulations during all phases of construction.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control processes and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical construction industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Control Manager.
- OSHA 30 required and OSHA 510 preferred.
- Current Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification a plus!
- Knowledge of NAVFAC standards and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requirements preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
