Construction Project Manager - Structural Steel

Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against these plans.
• Coordinate and manage resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and team members to provide updates and address any issues.
• Manage risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and budget overruns.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, particularly with structural steel projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
