The Opportunity
We are seeking a Construction Attorney to join a dynamic and highly respected team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a firm that handles sophisticated construction and real estate disputes for clients across the public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex construction litigation matters, including disputes involving payment, defective work, changes in scope, termination, delay, mechanic's liens, and bonds.
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitration, and mediation.
- Advise clients on risk management and contract negotiation for construction and design projects.
- Draft and negotiate construction and design professional contracts for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
- Collaborate with experienced trial lawyers and contribute to thought leadership through industry involvement and publications.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active Massachusetts Bar membership.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction law and litigation.
- Proven track record in handling complex construction disputes and delivering successful outcomes.
- Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with a team nationally recognized for its litigation expertise.
