Concrete Superintendent

Location: Westfield, IN

Salary: $100K-$150K (salary depends on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee and manage concrete construction operations for various industrial and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all concrete work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also leading and mentoring a team of skilled workers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of concrete construction projects, including tilt-up, slab, and structural concrete work.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards on job sites.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project schedules are met.
• Lead and mentor a team of concrete workers, providing guidance and support during the construction process.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that all concrete work meets specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate in the planning and execution of concrete forming and flatwork projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or similar role in industrial and commercial construction.
• Experience with projects Cast In Place, Tilt Up, Concrete forming, Slabs, Walls
• Some project experience, including Multifamily, High Rise, Tilt Up Walls Parking Garages, Industrial, Commercial Concrete, flat and structural, heavy civil, plus others
• Strong knowledge of concrete forming, multifamily, flatwork, and cast-in-place techniques.
• Experience with tilt walls, high-rise construction, and self-perform concrete work.
• Familiarity with mixed-use developments, parking garages, and warehouse construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and project plans effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
