Concrete Superintendent
Location: Manassas, VA
Salary: $110,000-$150,000 (Experience Dependent)

A well-established and growing concrete contractor is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations across commercial, municipal, site development, and infrastructure projects throughout Northern Virginia. This individual will be responsible for managing crews, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality concrete projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in concrete construction, foundations, flatwork, site concrete, and heavy civil operations, with proven experience leading multiple crews in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on concrete construction projects.
• Manage self-perform crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate project activities with Project Managers, Foremen, vendors, and clients.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones are achieved.
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements prior to construction.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
• Enforce company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Track manpower, production rates, and project progress.
• Attend project meetings and communicate updates to management.
• Resolve jobsite challenges while maintaining productivity and project schedules.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing concrete construction projects.
• Strong background in cast-in-place concrete, foundations, slabs, curb, sidewalk, site concrete, and related civil work.
• Experience managing multiple crews and coordinating subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Knowledge of scheduling, production planning, and resource allocation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with field reporting and construction management software is preferred.
• OSHA certification is a plus.
• Experience with municipal, commercial, site development, and public-sector projects is highly desirable.

• Public works, transportation, or VDOT-related projects.
• Utility coordination and site logistics management
