Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Concrete Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with concrete projects, ensuring that all aspects of the job are accounted for to maintain profitability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to understand concrete requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to gather necessary data for accurate estimations.
- Analyze historical data to create reliable cost models and pricing strategies.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and requirements.
- Prepare and submit bid proposals and participate in pre-bid meetings.
- Monitor project budgets and provide updates to management on cost projections and variances.
- Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator with Self-Perform Cast-In-Place experience
- Self performing concrete/steel on existing facilities
- Proven experience in Industrial Market
- Strong knowledge of concrete terms, materials, and processes.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
