We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to oversee concrete construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring quality control, and leading a team of workers to meet project timelines and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the concrete crew to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Review project plans and specifications to understand project requirements and ensure compliance.
- Manage the installation of concrete and tilt-up structures, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to enforce safety regulations and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
- Train and mentor crew members on best practices in concrete work and safety procedures.
- Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or similar role in construction management.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, including tilt-up construction.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
