Concrete Estimator

Salary: $100K-$130K (salary depends on experience)
Position Overview
The Concrete Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for concrete construction projects. This role involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documents to provide detailed cost estimates and proposals, ensuring that all aspects of the project are covered and compliant with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather information and clarify project requirements.
- Analyze and compare vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to stay updated on market trends and pricing.
- Assist in preparing bid proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Monitor project costs and provide forecasts for project budgets.
Qualifications
- 3 years of proven experience as a Concrete Estimator or similar role.
- Experience with projects Cast In Place, Tilt Up, Concrete forming, Slabs, Walls
- Some project experience, including Multifamily, High Rise, Tilt Up Walls Parking Garages, Industrial, Commercial Concrete, flat and structural, heavy civil, plus others
- Familiarity with estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
