Job Title: CMM Programmer
Location: Denver, NC
Salary: $25 - $35 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to support quality and inspection activities in a precision manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing CMM programs to ensure products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements. The CMM Programmer will work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, program, and execute CMM inspection programs for production and first article inspections
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
• Program and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS or similar software
• Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process inspections
• Analyze inspection data and communicate results to quality and engineering teams
• Identify nonconformances and support root cause and corrective action activities
• Maintain inspection documentation, reports, and records
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality and inspection processes
• Calibrate and verify inspection equipment as needed
• Assist with audits and customer quality requirements as required

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience programming and operating CMM equipment
• Proficiency with PC-DMIS (or comparable CMM software)
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Experience with multiple CMM platforms or probing systems
• Experience performing first article and production inspections
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
