Client Service Associate
Position Overview
We are seeking a Client Service Associate to deliver exceptional service to high-net-worth and institutional clients within a wealth management environment. The role focuses on supporting client relationships through proactive communication, efficient onboarding, transaction processing, and coordination with advisors and operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience and adherence to compliance and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, responding promptly and professionally via phone, email, and secure portals.
- Support the client onboarding process, including KYC/AML documentation collection, account setup, data entry, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely account activation.
- Assist advisors with account maintenance tasks such as transfers, beneficiary updates, account funding/withdrawals, and service requests.
- Process and reconcile transactions, monitor account activity, and escalate exceptions or unusual activity to operations and compliance teams.
- Prepare and distribute client communications, statements, and reporting materials; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with portfolio management, operations, and compliance to resolve client issues and implement service improvements.
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM and account systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and proposing practical solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Client service experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial services preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge or exposure to wealth management concepts, investment products, and account types.
- Experience with client onboarding processes, KYC/AML requirements, and regulatory documentation.
- Strong client service skills with excellent verbal and written communication and an ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Proficient with CRM systems and office productivity tools; experience with custody or portfolio platforms is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High integrity, discretion with confidential information, and a commitment to compliance and risk management.
