Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer Municipal to join our team, focusing on the planning, design, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of essential services including water, wastewater, and stormwater management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to develop municipal infrastructure designs and plans.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for municipal approvals and permits.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders throughout the construction process.
- Implement best practices in stormwater management and design to enhance environmental sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- EIT (Engineer In Training) certification preferred.
- 3 years experience in municipal infrastructure planning and design.
- Strong understanding of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations in municipal engineering.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
