Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee municipal infrastructure projects including roadways, stormwater management, and utility systems.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct site planning and assessments to determine project feasibility and requirements.
- Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Perform quality control checks on project plans and constructions to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; Engineer in Training (EIT) certification acceptable.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Familiarity with water/WW, stormwater, sewer and roadway projects.
- Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards, codes and regulations.
- Experience in quality control and assurance for civil engineering projects.
- Demonstrated experience in project engineering within the municipal infrastructure sector.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
