Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee civil engineering projects including infrastructure for retail, commercial, and residential developments.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate land for development.
- Prepare and review engineering plans and specifications using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to coordinate project activities.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Conduct hydrological analysis and design water distribution and stormwater management systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Experience in retail, commercial, and residential land development projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software.
- Knowledge of water distribution systems, roadway design, stormwater management, and underground utilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
