You will be responsible for providing legal support on a variety of corporate transactions and compliance matters to our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on joint ventures and partnerships within the cannabis industry.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
- Assist in the formation of corporate entities and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Support merger and acquisition activities, including due diligence and structuring transactions.
- Advise clients on financing options and strategies specific to cannabis businesses.
- Conduct legal research on cannabis law and regulatory developments affecting corporate activities.
- Collaborate with clients to develop innovative solutions to complex legal issues in the cannabis sector.
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Licensed to practice in the state of NY
- 4 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with a focus on the cannabis industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial transactions and contracts.
- Experience with joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and financing.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Competitive base ranging from $150,000.00 - $225,000.00(based on experience and office location)
- Offices in Rochester, Buffalo, Albany, and NYC- Work in the office closest to you!
