Business Development Specialist - AEC/Construction
Location: Dallas, TX (hybrid after 90 days)
Salary: $100k-$120k ( salary depends on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist in the construction industry to drive growth and expand our client base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and developing strategies to increase sales and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and general contractors.
- Prepare and present proposals, RFQ, and RFP documents to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered on time.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the construction industry.
- Track and report on sales metrics and performance to management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development with a recent Architecture firm
- Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and business practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software such as ACT! and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with sales strategies and techniques in construction business development.
