Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Building Automation System Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing building automation systems to enhance energy efficiency and comfort in various facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop building automation systems for HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
- Create and review technical documentation including system specifications, design drawings, and project plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Utilize MS Visio and other tools to create flow diagrams and sequence of operations for system integration.
- Program and configure PLCs and other control devices for optimal performance.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather requirements and evaluate existing systems.
- Manage Requests For Information (RFI) and provide technical support during project execution.
- Perform testing and commissioning of building automation systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
- 3 years of experience in building automation systems design and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and energy management.
- Proficiency in MS Visio, BACnet, and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and VFD integration.
- Experience with project management and working with clients.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
