We're seeking a Bridge Estimator with a strong background in civil construction to join our Castle Rock, CO office. Reporting to the Estimator Division Manager, this role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver accurate, competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed commercial estimates and bid proposals
- Review plans, specifications, and owner requirements
- Evaluate subcontractors and prepare comparison sheets
- Assist with pricing revisions, change orders, and value engineering
- Attend construction meetings and collaborate with project managers
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
- Prepare project budgets and make purchasing decisions
- Support post-bid buyouts and scope generation for all trades
- Other duties as assigned
- 5 years of experience in civil or heavy highway construction
- Expertise in underground utilities, earthwork, and roadway reconstruction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and HCSS
- Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to job sites as needed
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
