BIM Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled BIM Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies and tools, primarily Revit and Navisworks, to facilitate effective design coordination and clash detection in our projects. This role is essential for ensuring that all design elements are accurately modeled and integrated, promoting efficient collaboration among different disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Revit and Navisworks for creating and managing 3D models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct clash detection analysis to identify and resolve conflicts in the design before construction begins.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and compliance with building codes.
• Develop and manage BIM content, templates, and standards for project teams.
• Provide training and support to team members on BIM-related tools and processes.
• Participate in design coordination meetings to facilitate collaboration and improve project outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology and methodologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a BIM Specialist or similar role, with a strong focus on Revit and Navisworks.
• In-depth knowledge of clash detection processes and design coordination.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
• Experience with collaboration tools and software used in the design process.
• Nice to have: Skills in 3D Modeling, Architectural design, and Structural Engineering.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
