Position Overview
The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for projects, ensuring effective collaboration among project stakeholders and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in the BIM deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the BIM process for various projects, ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals and standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and integrate their models into a cohesive project model.
- Conduct regular model reviews and clash detection sessions using Navisworks to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Provide support and training to team members on BIM standards and software applications like Revit.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in BIM technologies and processes.
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit.
- Experience with MEP systems, Sheet Metal, and HVAC design is a plus.
- Familiarity with coordination processes and tools such as Navisworks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
