This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging cases involving Chapter 11, Chapter 9, and distressed asset acquisitions, while contributing to the restructuring efforts of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and litigate bankruptcy-related motions and pleadings
- Advise clients on bankruptcy options and strategies
- Represent clients in court during bankruptcy hearings and litigation
- Conduct legal research and analysis on bankruptcy laws and regulations
- Assist in the negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals in the firm on cross-functional matters
- Participate in client meetings and provide updates on case progress
- Stay current on legal developments in bankruptcy law and related areas
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing
- 3 years of experience in bankruptcy litigation or related field
- Strong knowledge of Chapter 11 and Chapter 9 bankruptcy processes
- Experience with debtor and creditor representation
- Familiarity with restructuring and creditors' rights
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Salary : $160,000 - $215,000
