We are seeking a skilled Automation Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation systems and controls for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and engineering principles to enhance productivity, efficiency, and reliability of our automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation control systems for manufacturing processes.
- Program in C#, .NET, and WPF to create user interfaces and control applications.
- Integrate HMI and GUI elements into automation systems for better user interaction.
- Develop and implement communication protocols using Ethernet and DeviceNet for seamless device connectivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on automation project specifications.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of PLC and robotics systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on new automation technologies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation and controls technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing automation controls and systems.
- Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, and HMI development.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and robotics, including Cartesian, Scara, Fanuc, and Denso systems.
- Experience with electromechanical systems and automation technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
