We are seeking a skilled Automation Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation systems to enhance operational efficiency and ensure safety standards. This role involves collaborating with various departments to optimize processes and support industrial automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation control systems for industrial applications.
- Implement SCADA systems and HMI development to monitor and control processes effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process control and optimize production.
- Program and configure controllers and robotics for automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards such as IEC 61508 and NFPA 70E.
- Conduct testing and validation of automation systems prior to deployment.
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff on automated systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in industrial automation and control systems.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, HMI development, and process control.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C# and Python.
- Experience with troubleshooting electrical and control systems issues.
- Familiarity with robotics and instrumentation technologies.
- Understanding of networking principles as they relate to automation systems.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in industrial environments.
