You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, including the supervision and development of staff
- Perform detailed audit procedures, including testing of internal controls and substantive testing
- Prepare and review audit work papers and financial statements
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit and accounting standards, as well as nonprofit and employee benefit plan regulations
- Develop and maintain client relationships to foster new business opportunities
- Coordinate with other professionals in the firm to deliver a seamless client experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Minimum of 3 years of audit experience, with a focus on nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans
- Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
