Position Overview

The Audit Senior will be responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, and providing guidance to junior staff members. The role requires a thorough understanding of financial reporting and internal controls, with a focus on risk assessment and SOX compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans accordingly.
• Evaluate internal controls and perform substantive testing to ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare financial reports and communicate findings to management.
• Mentor and train junior audit staff to foster their professional development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations related to financial reporting and compliance.
• Collaborate with the tax department to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Document audit procedures and findings clearly and concisely.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of SOX, GAAP, and internal controls.
• Excellent financial analysis skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated team leadership and management capabilities.
