Requirements: 3 Years of Public Accounting External Audit Experience

Position Overview

As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering high-quality assurance services to our clients. You will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, particularly in the non-profit and employee benefit plan (EBP) sectors, helping to identify areas for improvement and providing valuable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the audit process.
• Review and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance client operations and compliance.
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting the audit and assurance sectors.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audit and assurance services, preferably with a focus on non-profit and EBP sectors.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other regulatory frameworks relevant to auditing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective working relationships with clients and team members.
