Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic audit team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auditing practices and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. This role is pivotal in managing audit processes and assisting in the development of junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring that the audit is completed in accordance with applicable standards and regulations
- Review and assess internal controls and make recommendations for improvements
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports for submission to management and the board
- Provide guidance and training to junior audit staff and interns
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting audit practices
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to build relationships and understand their needs
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience, preferably within a public accounting firm
- Familiarity with 10-K filings, SOX compliance, and PCAOB standards
- Strong understanding of SEC regulations and S-1 filings
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Mandarin preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of MD&A and FASB standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
