Audit Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, particularly in the Not-For-Profit (NFP) sector, and will play a key role in providing assurance services to our clients. The Audit Manager will lead audit engagements, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
• Conduct detailed audits of financial statements for Not-For-Profit organizations and other clients, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
• Prepare and review working papers and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their questions and concerns while maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Stay current with auditing standards and best practices, ensuring the audit team is informed of any changes that may impact engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification is required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on Not-For-Profit organizations preferred.
• Strong understanding of audit and assurance methodologies, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
