In this role, you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing financial statement engagements for a diverse client base. Position Responsibilities
- Engagement Leadership: Strategically plan, manage, and execute financial statement engagements from start to finish.
- Client Understanding: Obtain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives, utilizing that knowledge to perform and direct all engagement procedures.
- Collaboration: Effectively work both independently and collaboratively within engagement teams, maintaining open communication with all members.
- Client Relationship: Maintain and develop strong client relationships by consistently providing exceptional client service.
- Travel: Must be available to travel to client sites within the Atlanta Metro area as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Licensure: Licensed CPA is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting is strongly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of accounting and auditing literature.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, organization, and time management skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Software (Preferred): Proficiency with Thomson Reuters Engagement Manager or CaseWare audit software is a plus.
- Attitude: Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
