The Audit Manager will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting for a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple audit engagements across various industries
- Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff and seniors
- Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships; serve as primary point of contact
- Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Identify and communicate audit issues and recommend solutions
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technical updates
- Assist in business development efforts and proposal preparation
- Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on strategic initiatives
- CPA license required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and audit methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with industries such as real estate, healthcare, nonprofit, or manufacturing
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and cloud-based audit platforms
- Proven track record of client service excellence and team development
