The Audit Manager will lead and manage auditing projects for various clients, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. This role is key in providing expert guidance on audit processes, managing teams, and delivering high-quality audit reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
- Manage and mentor audit staff, providing training and professional development opportunities.
- Evaluate audit findings and prepare comprehensive reports for clients detailing results and recommendations.
- Coordinate with clients to schedule audits and gather necessary documentation.
- Stay current with industry standards and regulations related to public accounting and auditing, particularly in relation to Employment Benefit Plans.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional service throughout the audit process.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audit.
- Strong knowledge of Employment Benefit Plans, ERISA regulations, and related compliance standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
