The Audit Partner will oversee and manage audit engagements for private companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing exceptional service to clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities to guide audit teams and foster client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements for private companies from planning through to completion
- Review and approve audit work papers and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and firm policies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance and support
- Mentor and develop audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Collaborate with other partners and departments to enhance service delivery and business development
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in audit processes
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- 10 years of audit experience, with a focus on private companies
- Direct experience advising business owners
- Strong engagement management skills
- Ability to create pricing proposals
- Experience interviewing, hiring, mentoring, and, when necessary, terminating employees
- Leadership experience overseeing a department
- Strong business development and client acquisition skills
