Position Overview

The Audit Partner will oversee and manage audit engagements for private companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing exceptional service to clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities to guide audit teams and foster client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements for private companies from planning through to completion
• Review and approve audit work papers and financial statements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and firm policies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance and support
• Mentor and develop audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Collaborate with other partners and departments to enhance service delivery and business development
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in audit processes
  
  

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• 10 years of audit experience, with a focus on private companies
• Direct experience advising business owners
• Strong engagement management skills
• Ability to create pricing proposals
• Experience interviewing, hiring, mentoring, and, when necessary, terminating employees
• Leadership experience overseeing a department
• Strong business development and client acquisition skills
