An established firm based in Columbia, South Carolina with over 25 years in practice is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney with 3 years of experience to join their team onsite. This role focuses on personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and general negligence matters, handling cases from intake through resolution while advocating for injured clients in litigation and settlement negotiations.

Salary range: $110,000-$160,000 contingent on experience

Qualifications
Active South Carolina Bar membership in good standing
3 years of experience handling personal injury matters in litigation settings
Experience managing cases from pre-suit through trial or mediation
Strong deposition, motion practice, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage a full caseload independently while collaborating with a team
Strong client communication and advocacy skills
Responsibilities
Handle a docket of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands
Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances
Evaluate liability, damages, and case strategy throughout the lifecycle of each matter
Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers
Work closely with support staff to ensure timely and accurate case management
