This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated estate planning and administration matters while spending 2-3 days per week in-office for collaboration and client engagement.
What You'll Do
- Draft and implement complex estate plans, including wills, trusts, and related instruments.
- Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies and tax-efficient structuring.
- Manage estate and trust administration, including probate, fiduciary duties, and accountings.
- Collaborate with partners on high-value matters while maintaining direct client relationships.
- Contribute to the growth of the practice group and develop your own book of business.
- Optional involvement in estate controversies, will contests, trust disputes, guardianships, and conservatorships.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- 5-10 years of Trusts & Estates experience, ideally in a law firm setting.
- LL.M. in Taxation and/or Florida Bar admission is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to manage complex matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong drafting, research, and client communication skills.
- Interest in mentoring junior attorneys and contributing to a collaborative firm culture.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a long-term practice.
- Competitive base salary: $150,000-$225,000, commensurate with experience.
