Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of litigation, particularly in insurance subrogation and defense. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of cases and further develop your legal expertise in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior attorneys in preparing for and conducting litigation in various areas, including insurance defense and personal injury cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
• Participate in discovery, including depositions and interrogatories, to support case strategies.
• Manage a caseload of insurance subrogation and liability cases, ensuring compliance with deadlines and court procedures.
• Attend court hearings and trials as necessary, representing clients effectively and professionally.
• Collaborate with clients to provide legal advice and updates on case progress.
• Stay current on legal developments and trends in areas such as catastrophic loss, product liability, and mass tort.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on insurance defense and related fields.
• Strong knowledge and experience in insurance subrogation, product liability, and premises liability.
• Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a legal team environment.
