Associate Attorney - General Litigation

Established 15 Years Premier Firm Seeking Litigation Defense Attorney in Harrisburg, PA!

An established firm based in Harrisburg, PA with over 15 years in practice is seeking a Litigation Defense Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their team onsite. This role will focus on general civil litigation defense matters, including premises liability, commercial disputes, construction litigation, and insurance defense cases, representing clients through all phases of litigation while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Salary range: $90,000-$130,000 , contingent on experience

Qualifications:
Active bar admission in Pennsylvania is required
2-5 years of civil litigation defense experience is required
A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is required
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills are required
Experience managing an active caseload with multiple deadlines is required
Excellent communication and client-facing skills are required

Responsibilities:
Handle all phases of civil litigation defense including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and correspondence on behalf of clients
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions
Manage an active caseload across a variety of civil defense matters
Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation strategy
Maintain regular communication with clients and provide strategic legal counsel throughout the litigation process
