Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will provide legal representation to our clients in a variety of insurance-related matters and will play a key role in defending against claims and litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex insurance defense issues.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases from inception through resolution.
- Maintain accurate and detailed case files and documentation.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in insurance defense or related field.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
