Anodizing Manager
Location: Valdese, NC
Pay: $30-40/hour - There is flexibility for the right person.
Position Overview
The Anodizing Manager will oversee the anodizing operations, ensuring that processes meet industry standards and customer specifications. The role involves managing a team, optimizing production workflows, and maintaining compliance with NADCAP requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the anodizing department to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement processes that comply with NADCAP and industry standards.
- Oversee the management of bath chemistry and ensure proper maintenance of anodizing solutions.
- Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure product specifications are met.
- Lead and train the anodizing team on best practices and safety procedures.
- Monitor production metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
- Maintain documentation and records related to anodizing processes and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in anodizing or related processes.
- Strong knowledge of NADCAP requirements and anodizing processes.
- Experience in black oxide and coatings is essential.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Nice to have: Experience with finishing processes and bath chemistry.
