Staff Accountant - Client Accounting & Advisory Services
Position Overview
The Staff Accountant in Client Accounting & Advisory Services will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive accounting support to clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This position is designed for a detail-oriented professional who can manage bookkeeping tasks while offering advisory services to enhance client operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports for clients
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
- Assist clients with bookkeeping using QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Collaborate with clients to provide financial insights and advisory services
- Support payroll processing and compliance with applicable regulations
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure adherence to tax laws
- Provide excellent client service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Prior CPA firm experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks is required (Desktop & Online)
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
