Account Executive
Location: New York, NY (On-site, 5 days per week)
Compensation: 75K to 100K base plus commission and equity
OTE: Approximately 160K (higher for top performers)
Industry: High-growth Fintech / SaaS
About the Role
We are hiring an Account Executive for a fast-growing, well-funded fintech company selling into healthcare providers. This is a fully on-site, outbound-heavy role focused on generating new business through cold calling, meetings, demos, and events.
You will own the full sales cycle and are expected to build your own pipeline with limited SDR support. This role is a good fit for someone who has moved from SDR to AE and wants more ownership and responsibility.
What You Will Do
Run high-volume cold outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings
Generate and qualify your own outbound pipeline
Lead discovery calls and run product demos
Attend conferences and industry events to source and close deals
Clearly explain a technical product to non-technical buyers
Keep CRM activity accurate and up to date
Work closely with sales leadership to improve messaging and process
What We Are Looking For
2 to 4 years of outbound or closing sales experience
Strong cold calling experience and comfort starting conversations from scratch
Experience in SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or other high-velocity sales environments
Consistent performance at the same company (progression matters)
Confident communicator with strong follow-through
Comfortable working fully on-site
Nice to Have
SDR to AE progression
Experience selling to small or mid-sized businesses
Competitive background such as athletics or commission-driven roles

Consistently building pipeline through outbound work
Hitting or exceeding quota
Running clean, effective demos that convert
Being reliable, coachable, and accountable
